Island Songstress Carolyn Cruso celebrates summer with a show this week at the Village Green Stage, as part of the Music in the Park series hosted by Leslie Seaman on Sunday, Aug. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. She will perform folk, Celtic, and jazz-inspired original acoustic music.

Cruso weaves a web with her guitar playing, expressive vocals, poetic writing and hammered dulcimer compositions. Mikaela Hanson, a young singer/songwriter, will open the show.
