“Man-Made” art show at Orcas Center

The Visual Arts Committee of Orcas Center has realized that most of the visual art displayed at the center is the work of women. In an attempt to encourage more men to display their art, the “Man-Made” show is back on the calendar in February this year. “Man-Made” shows in the past provided an opportunity for dozens of men who had never have displayed their work — work that includes paintings; wood carvings; hand-crafted furniture; metal sculpture; stonework; glass and more.

Intake for artwork is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5. An opening night reception will be held Friday, Feb. 7 from 5:30-7 p.m.
