Local child helps senior citizens with technology

For the past three years, Evan Kulper, almost 14, has been holding a “Tech Time” class at the Orcas Senior Center, helping seniors with their technology. Homeschooling two of those years made it easy for him to have morning classes, which can no longer happen with his attending school in the fall.

If you’re needing help with your phone, computer, printer or other electronic device, Evan is available until the end of August, then in the fall after school hours and on Saturdays, for $15 per hour. If you’re not yet acquainted with him, Evan is proficient not only with computers, but he has also built a working underwater remote operating vehicle, is competent with 3D printing, flies remote-controlled planes and drones, and creates all kinds of electronic gadgets in his free time. Call him at 376-2766 to make an appointment.
