On Sunday, Oct. 26, all are invited to grab a burger and a brew at Orcas Center, and then to settle into a performance with the vintage Americana music band, Marley’s Ghost.

Marley’s Ghost is a spirited group of musicians who have performed together for 21 years. Their diverse repertoire includes great vocal harmonies and a mix of Gospel, Country, R&B, Cajun and Scottish tunes. The band members are Dan Wheetman (vocals, bass, rhythm guitar, fiddle, harmonica, banjo, dobro, lap steel); Jon Wilcox (vocals, mandolin, rhythm guitar, guitar, bouzouki); Mike Phelan (vocals, lead guitars, fiddle, dobro, bass, lap steel); Ed Littlefield Jr., (vocals, pedal steel guitar, Highland bagpipes, keyboards, mandolin, dobro, lead guitar); and Jerry Fletcher (vocals, drums, percussion, keyboards, arrangements),

Orcas Center audiences who have enjoyed the recent performances of the Foghorn String Band, April Verch and David Lindley will find that the music of Marley’s Ghost is right up their alley, said the Center’s Executive Director, Barbara Courtney.

Courtesy of The Lower Tavern, hamburgers and beer (or other beverage) will available for $12 in the Madrona Room beginning at 5:30 pm. All proceeds from the burger sale benefit Orcas Center’s programming.
