Anthony Kaskurs, Orcas High School Class of 2016, was named this year’s recipient of the Sophomore Class Award by Gonzaga University.

He was honored at the Annual Honors Convocation on Tuesday, April 24. Last year, he won the same award as a freshman.

He was chosen as the top sophomore by the Gonzaga registrar and faculty for his outstanding 4.0-grade point average coupled with his heavy credit load.

Kaskurs is majoring in economics and finance with a minor in computer science.
