The faculty and staff of Orcas Island High School and the Orcas Island School District would like to invite the Orcas Island community (both near and far) to join us in celebrating our graduating class of 2020 during our virtual commencement ceremony. We are so grateful for the class of 2020 for their perseverance and positive response to all that has taken place in the midst of their senior year. We have great hope for the future based on the resilience and strength these young men and women have demonstrated. Born into the world during the 9/11 attacks and now stepping out into the world in the midst of a global crisis and pandemic we are amazed by all that they have accomplished in their young lives. We are confident that this group of students will rise to face any challenge that confronts them and that they will truly embody the ideal of being the change that we wish to see in the world.

While we are disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate the achievements of this group at our traditional in-person ceremony, we are excited to recognize them all in this way. We invite you all to join us from the safety of your homes as we honor the 32 graduating members of the class of 2020.

Note that following virtual graduation the parents of the class of 2020 will be hosting a vehicle procession of the graduates around the Eastsound area.
