Orcas Island School District welcomes Jessie Housman as its new paraeducator.

Housman was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. She has always been drawn toward jobs working with children. Housman has worked as a Youth Rock Climbing instructor, pre-school teacher and most recently, she has been working at the Funhouse Commons in its after school program. She comes to OISD with a lot of knowledge already of many of our students. Housman prides herself on her enthusiasm and empathy for children.
