It’s that time of year when everything turns pumpkin-spiced, and ads for gifting start to appear everywhere. It can be overwhelming, but have no fear: The Olga Symphony is back for an evening of tunes old and new, jokes hopefully new and an assortment of fine evening wear guaranteed to start the holidays off in a relaxing, feel-good Orcas fashion. Yes, JP, Anita, Gordon, Melinda and Z, along with their cast of roadies, will once again transform the Grange Hall into a festive venue for a night out with your friends. It all happens Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28 and 29 at 7 p.m., so mark your calendars and get tickets early — and easily — where our friends at Darvill’s will be happy to take your donations (yes, donations — by cash or check only, please) until 5 p.m. on Nov. 26. There will be a very limited number of tickets available at the door (credit cards accepted as well). As always, all monies raised will be kept here at home and donated to local needs.
