“Forest Ecology of Turtleback Mountain with Carson Sprenger” is June 16, Saturday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., starting on the north trailhead parking off Crow Valley Road.
The walk is 4 miles round trip with an 800-foot elevation gain.
Carson Sprenger, a forester and restoration ecologist with many years of experience working in the San Juan Islands, will discuss geology, first peoples, settlement, industry, and conservation.
