Camp Orkila’s Fall Festival and Haunted Hay Ride are on Friday, Oct. 25. All food and activities are free.

The festival is from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. There will be hot dogs, soup, chili and cider as well as pumpkin carving, cider-pressing, face painting, archery, climbing at the Climbing Tower, and much more.

The 1000-foot zipline will be a drop-in activity this year. Meet at the lower end of the zipline for a briefing; children must be in third grade or older to participate, and the maximum weight capacity for a single rider is 285 pounds.

At 6 p.m., hop aboard for a hay ride around the farm, suitable for younger children. For older children and adults, take a ride on the legendary, fear-inducing haunted hay ride, leaving every 20 minutes from 7 to 8:45 p.m.
