The Orcas Island Lions Club presents its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20, at 10 a.m. sharp. The event is at the Cascade Lake landing in Moran State Park where there will be free parking all day. Come join the fun and meet the Easter Bunny. There will be three egg-hunting areas for kids small, medium and large, and lots of candy to be found.

The Deer Harbor Inn will be doing its 38th annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m. There are three age groups with super prizes for the golden eggs. Craig and Pam Carpenter started the island tradition in 1982, and it is now presented by their son Matthew and his wife Emily. The hunt begins promptly at 2 p.m. Don’t be late, say organizers.
