Spring is on the doorstep and it’s time to clean out the attic! Once again the Orcas Island Senior Center is collecting donations of interesting and unique items of value for its annual Granny’s Attic rummage sale, to be held on April 29 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Begin your spring cleaning now so that you don’t miss your chance to support the Senior Center by contributing to this fun and fabulous event.

Please bring your gently used items to 62 Henry Road on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the senior center starting on March 21 and continuing until April 25. It is collecting kitchenware, items for bath and bedroom, Christmas and other seasonal décor, sporting goods, tools, baskets, collectibles, jewelry, yard and garden items in working condition, pet supplies, games, toys and crafting supplies including quality linens and accessories.

Please note that we will not be accepting: clothing, books, CDs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes or any computer or electronic equipment. If you have larger items such as furniture please call or e-mail Arron Redford at 376-7929 or orcasseniorcenter@gmail.com to arrange for pick-up or drop-off. Unattended items left outside will be discarded.
