The Met: Live in HD’s third opera of the summer Encore Series is “Don Giovanni” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart airing at Orcas Center on Friday, July 6 at 7:30 p.m.

“Don Giovanni” is one of opera’s most notorious and fascinating anti-heroes. At the core of director Michael Grandage’s approach to the opera is the complex nature of its eponymous main character portrayed as both the image of youthful vigor and as a villainous, decadent criminal.
