San Juan County Department of Emergency Management is hosting a two-day training on minimizing and evaluating the damage to buildings from earthquakes.
The training is from 8:30 a.m.– 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26 in Friday Harbor. There is no cost to attend.
Training is intended for facility managers, building officials, engineers, architects, contractors, first responders, or others who have a professional role in building safety, design, or evaluation after an earthquake.
Participants must register in advance to enroll.
