Caroline Buchanan to display technique to Northwest Watercolor Society

Caroline Buchanan of Obstruction Island will be featured at the Sept. 23 meeting of the Northwest Watercolor Society. She will be demonstrating some of the effects one can achieve by playing different kinds of pigments against each other, working wet and layering color. The Northwest Watercolor Society is an organization of watercolor artists dedicated to the artistic growth of its members and is a major artistic resource in the Northwest. Buchanan has been a signature member of the Society since 1981.The meeting is held at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 2650 148th Ave SE, in Bellevue. It starts at 7 p.m.
