‘Billy Elliot – The Musical’ | Review and photos

“Billy Elliot – The Musical” at the Orcas Center is a must-see. The production stars first-time singer-actor Aristotle Luna as the honorary Billy Elliot. Luna’s dancing, already well known throughout the Orcas community, is executed beautifully. Kelly Toombs and Tiffany Loney support Luna fantastically as Elliot’s father and dance instructor, respectively, and the three of them shine radiantly. Loney brings her professional dance skill to this production, and shares her lovely singing voice. Additionally, the music section led by Martin Lund is astounding.

Don’t miss your chance to see the show at 7:30 p.m. on March 22–24, and 2 p.m. on March 25, at Orcas Center. Tickets are $19, $15 for students and $2 off for center members. Subsidized tickets are available for $5. Visit www.orcascenter.org.
