Alice Di Micele to perform on Orcas, Lopez and San Juan

by Quija Moonflower Keogh

The first time I heard Alice Di Micele sing I found myself in tears as it spoke to my own experience as a child. It was a life changer. Ever since then I have become an avid collector of her music. She has the gift of an artist who skillfully weaves a blend of words and melodies that live right under the skin, massaging the soul.

In addition to her performance at the Orcas Grange on Sept. 2 at 7 p.m., she will also be playing Aug. 31 at the San Juan Island Grange in Friday Harbor and September 3 on Lopez Island. More information and tickets at: https://www.alicedimicele.com/summerwashington2023/.

Di Micele writes songs about the environment, love, politics and everything in between. Her sultry bluesy voice captures your attention and leaves you feeling uplifted. She has been compared to Bonnie Raitt and you will not soon forget her impact on your heart. This is a performance that demands your attention!
