Alan Ruston Coe has graduated cum laude from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

A lifelong resident of Orcas Island and a graduate of Orcas High School, Coe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering from WSU’s Voiland College of Engineering.

Coe will pursue a career involving the research, design and development of new prosthetic devices and systems aimed at assisting people to regain near-normal function in damaged body parts.
