As required by RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, notice is hereby given that the Orcas Island School District No. 137 will be completing the 2020–2021 Budget and a Four-year Budget Plan Summary, and placing the same on file in the school district office by Friday, July 10, and copies thereof will be furnished to any person who will call upon the District for them. On Thursday, July 9, at 5 p.m., in the school library, the Board shall hold a budget work session and public hearing. At the following regular meeting of the Board of Directors on Thursday, July 23, at 5 p.m., in the school library, the Board shall hold a second public budget hearing and may adopt the 2020–2021 General Fund, ASB Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Debt Service Fund, and Transportation Vehicle Fund Budgets and the Four-year Budget Plan Summary. Any person may appear at either meeting to be heard for or against the Budget, Four-year Budget Plan Summary, any changes to the use of enrichment funding (local Materials and Operations Levy) as defined in RCW 28A.505.240, or any part thereof.
