Who’s the most interesting person you’ve ever met on a ferry? What’s your most memorable trip across the Sound? What was it like the first time you saw the sunset from the upper deck? Join Washington State Ferries in celebrating its 60th anniversary by telling your “ferry tales.”
The largest ferry system in the U.S., WSF has carried hundreds of millions of riders over the past six decades, and it is a sure thing that every single rider has one memory that stands out about their experience aboard. WSF invites all of its customers – daily commuters, summer vacationers or visitors on a once-in-a-lifetime trip – to share their experiences sailing the Salish Sea.
If you are interested in sharing your ferry experience, please submit your stories and your favorite photos by email to DavidMoseleyUpdates@wsdot.wa.gov; by letter to: Washington State Ferries, Attn. Director of Communications Marta Coursey, 2901 Third Ave., Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121; or stories only to the Washington State Ferries blog.
WSF will review all submittals and select some of the best to be featured in the “Spotlight” section on WSF’s website through its 60th anniversary year. Photo submittals to accompany a story are encouraged, but hardcopy prints cannot be returned.
