On behalf of The Funhouse Commons board, staff and dozens of Orcas families, thanks to the United Way of San Juan county for supporting our after school program with a 2013 grant!

The Funhouse Commons provides kids with a safe, educational, fun place to go everyday after school. For over a decade this program has been critical for many families on Orcas.

This program has never been more critical than it is now; and our numbers have never been higher.

A study done in October/November showed that 70 to 75 children are coming to The Funhouse after school at least twice a week. This year we also had as many as 50 kids on one day – a record!

We couldn’t do it without the generous support of the community, and critical organizations like the United Way of San Juan County.
