Thank you, thank you to the EMTs and paramedics. On March 2, we were unloading the car at 9 p.m. after shopping off island. Bob reached into the back seat, slipped and dislocated his hip. The hip had been replaced 12 years ago. We called 911, and within a very short time, the EMTs and paramedics arrived. Their expertise is the VERY BEST! We are so fortunate to have them on Orcas Island. Bob was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital and is now doing very well. Thank you again for the very best care Bob could possibly have had.
