Thank you to the Orcas Island Community on behalf of Skagit Valley College! Our late summer survey has provided bountiful and detailed information helping to identify Orcas Island’s education and training needs.

We received 371 responses from the community, including 61 potential instructors interested in teaching a wide array of courses!

We extend our deep thanks and appreciation to Orcas Island Rotary, the Orcas Island Library, the Chamber of Commerce, the Orcas Senior Center, and the Orcas Island Public Schools for their support and partnership in this community outreach effort. We could not have done it without you!

Skagit Valley College will be poring over and analyzing the information to evaluate which course offerings are the most popular and what instructional resources are available. Look for new educational offerings to appear in early 2018 at existing venues on Orcas Island!
