Thank you for Orcas Center gala | Letter

We have come to expect great art and programs at the Orcas Center where the artistic talents of islanders can be showcased and the audience can be inspired and entertained. We could not continue to provide a cultural center for all the arts without the support of Orcas businesses.

Orcas Center recently held a very successful fundraising Gala and many businesses donated services and/or auction items that received much attention and admiration from those attending. A huge thank you to these businesses: Connie Luerlous Cleaning; Con’s Pit Stop; Darvill’s Book Store; Deer Harbor Charters; Deer Harbor Inn and Restaurant; Driftwood Nursery; Hogstone’s Wood Oven; Island Pie; Island Thyme; Kenmore Air; Martin Lund; Nordstrom Seattle Restaurant; North Shore Charters; Orcas Arts & Gifts; Orcas Film Festival; Orcas Island Hardware; Orcas Video; Orcas Village Store; Pawki’s for Pets; Ray’s Drug Store; Rob Thomber Bowls; Rosario Resort; Roses Cafe; Salt Spray Window Cleaning; Shearwater Kayak Tours; and The Barnacle. We are eternally grateful to the event sponsorship of Cavallini Papers & Co. and to Mary Russell and Ron Redman of the Orcas Village Store who catered the dinner.

It takes a great many hands to put on a successful event. Thanks to those who attended and to those of you who volunteered your time and talents. We are so very grateful to everyone who supports Orcas Center. Because of all of you Orcas Center has a bright future.
