Thank you for Orcas Center FUNdraiser

Orcas Center is where creativity comes to life! It’s a vibrant hub for both island residents and visiting artists to nurture their talents, share their work, and engage in the arts. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, there’s always something inspiring to see or experience — be it visual art, live performances, or community events. This thriving artistic scene wouldn’t be possible without the generous backing of Orcas Island businesses and our supportive community. Earlier this month, the Center hosted an Alice in Wonderland-themed FUNdraising Dinner, where numerous local businesses and individuals came together in support of the arts!

We owe a huge thank you to these individuals for donating their time and talents: Kyle Duncan Graham, Joe Cohen, April Duke, Geri Turnoy, Elizabeth Antonia, Sukima Hampton, Robin Hirsch, Rachel Fletcher, Olive McKenzie, Opal Mills, David Turnoy, Tatum Wright, Cali Bagby and Matt Hauser. Much appreciation goes to the Orcas Center board as well: Bruce Langford (VP), Mindy Rowse (Secretary), George Beebe (Treasurer), Cher Jefford, Liberté Pedicini, Colleen Smith Summers, Christina Vallery, and Linda Hamilton. Special thanks to Amanda Zimlich of Otter’s Pond who catered the amazing meal, as well as Country Corner, Island Market, and The Lower for providing our fantastic drink menu.

It takes many hands to put on a successful event. We give thanks to those who attended and to those of you who volunteered your time and talents. We are so very grateful to everyone who supports Orcas Center – The Home for our Creative Community on Orcas!
