My husband and I would like to thank intrepid cat tamer Barbara Rosencotter and the Orcas Island Animal Shelter for the parts they played in rescuing our lost kitty, Mocha. She wandered the wilds of Spring Point for over seven months without going near any humans who would have seen our phone number on her collar. On Easter Sunday, Barbara finally lured her into a trap provided by the shelter. The shelter had provided the information that connected us to Barbara. Mocha is now safe with a new bed, new toys and as much kitty food as she can stuff in her tummy. She says she’s purrrrrfectly happy to be home.
