Thank you for including our story about Orcasong Farm’s “Elders in the Garden” program in your Senior Resource Guide, published Sept. 27. This program was a success because of our collaboration with Jami Mitchell and her team at Orcas Senior Center. “Elders in the Garden” was included in their activities calendar, and weekly coordination and transportation was provided by the senior center staff and volunteers. It has been a great opportunity to work together and we look forward to future programming.
