I would personally like to thank all the EMTs and volunteers who came to my rescue on Dec. 4. Your response time and amount of care made a very scary and difficult time a little more bearable. A very big thank you to the Harvey family, including Rita, Rob, Ray and Katie for all their help and for making sure my homecoming went as smoothly and comfortably as possible. You were all truly angels and I cannot thank you all enough. I would also like to thank the customers and employees at Ace Hardware for the lovely card they signed for me and the Orcas Island community in total for all their well wishes and words of encouragement. I am so thankful to have been brought up in such a loving and caring community that is always there to pick you up when you need it.
