I urge readers to vote in favor of the park and rec levy. There is no other good source of funding. This levy will open up amazing opportunities and the good leaders of the program will offer something for all ages. San Juan Island has had a successful park and rec district for over 25 years. Now it’s time to make it happen on Orcas Island. Vote yes!
