The Eastsound Postal service is outstanding. Last night after dark, the mail carrier delivered a long-awaited package that was sent regular mail not overnight delivery. We did not make any special request about it at the post office.

This year, in addition to their many mailing duties, the postal workers accommodated the mailing of thousands of Vote Forward letters.

The postal service is a lifeline to many of us who write letters instead of emails, pay bills and receive essential deliveries. Every time we visit the post office in town, we get a friendly welcome greeting, usually by name. We appreciate how hard our neighbors work for us. May they continue to thrive.
