Paying for bond is only fair payback

I am a high school student at the Orcas Island Public School, and I would like to ask something to all the people who are planning on voting "no" for the bond: As all of you were going to school, did you have a bond that passed? If you did, isn't it fair that since your community paid for a bond, it is now your turn to pay for ours?

Dear Sounder,

I am a high school student at the Orcas Island Public School, and I would like to ask something to all the people who are planning on voting “no” for the bond:

As all of you were going to school, did you have a bond that passed? If you did, isn’t it fair that since your community paid for a bond, it is now your turn to pay for ours? Or are you trying to teach us students that we don’t have to pay for a bond when the time comes? So all I am asking is that you think about who paid for your bonds in your childhood, and to say to yourself, ‘Is it my turn to pay for the bond?’
