What a Gala Celebration it was on July 22! The Orcas Center was all decked out in silver and sparkles to celebrate the silver anniversary of our building. Honored guests for the evening included over half of the people on the board 25 years ago: Duff Andrews, Velma Doty, Jay Haglund, Larry Lindberg, Catherine Pederson, John Suzick, and June Crinkley representing her husband Bob.

Spirits were high; the bidding was generous; the music was great; the décor was fabulous; and the food was scrumptious.

We successfully raised funds for the continuation of art and education at the Orcas Center. Thank you to our generous volunteers and supporters for making this a great evening.
