To all, a wagging tail “hello.” I’m Max the Shiloh Shepherd and I want to thank all the nice people who sent in support, love and well wishes to me and my best friend Susie. Every little bit made all the difference in the world.

I was so sick and lost all my blood and they thought I was a goner. But Susie wouldn’t give up on me and everyone did their best to save my life. I am so grateful.

Since leaving the vet over Thanksgiving weekend I put on 10 pounds and feel by spring I’ll be back at my 140 pounds of love.

l’m like a puppy again, walking by Susie’s side on the beach and playing in the snow catching snowballs. I am so happy to be alive and have so many friends that care. I love life and look forward to seeing all my friends around town. Susie and I are deeply grateful with every step along the trail. Thank you again with a big sloppy kiss.
