After our county councilman voted in favor of the sidewalk on Haven Road after being promised that we had a month before council would rule on it should show us that “We The People” no longer have a say in county affairs.

Nowadays, it appears the “money talks.” How very convenient for the developers! Billions of dollars are being spent here on crass commercialism. Dainty little trees will never grow into stately groves of trees that would have cut down on Eastsound’s wind tunnel effect. Cut more trees on Haven Road too, just keep on destroying nature, the very thing for which tourists come!
