After nearly 30 years of discussion and dedication, the Shaw Island School Board and superintendent are thrilled to announce that we have officially accepted a bid to build a three-bedroom staff house! The contractor selected is Swal’ lech Construction on Lopez Island.

This project has been a long-standing vision for our district, and it’s finally becoming a reality. Thanks to the generosity of our current donors and the continued support of future contributors and community members, we are ensuring that staff housing will be available for years to come.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has played a part — past, present and future — in making this dream come true for our school district and community.
