Thank you to everyone who participated in the Orcas Island Community Parade on July 4 weekend this year. It was great to see a wide spectrum of the community represented, from rising boats, to flying angels and, of course, dogs of all shapes and sizes. I particularly want to thank everyone who came out and walked with us and the Orcas Off-Leash Area (OOLA) entry. It was great fun to walk with you all and see the joy we were bringing to the crowd. The OOLA is a real “Community in Action”!

Also a big thanks to the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce for supporting our community with the parade and providing incentives for entertaining and community-oriented entries.
