Washington Federal’s Eastsound branch awarded for top performance

Manager Rolland Rueb and the staff of the Eastsound branch were honored as the top performing branch company-wide during 2009.

The Eastsound branch received the “Washington Federal Cup,” an annual award for outperforming other branches. The competition consists of a monthly evaluation of every branch’s performance including loan production, savings growth, number of loans closed and net new checking accounts.

The Eastsound branch, located at 35 Main Street on Orcas Island, is supported by assistant manager Lisa Boyd, Loan Coordinator Jennifer Wallace, Customer Service Supervisor Elinor D’Aquitaine, and part-time Customer Service Representatives Madeline Danielson and Margaret Payne. This is their fourth win out of seven years of the competition. This exemplifies the branch’s client loyalty and customer service, which was in close competition with the Downtown Seattle branch, the headquarters of the Company.

Washington Federal, with 150 offices in Arizona, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Texas and New Mexico, specializes in residential real estate lending. Established in 1917, the company reported $12.6 billion in assets and $7.8 billion in deposits as of September 30, 2009.
