Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce is hosting the seminar "7 Simple Steps to Getting Found Online” on Thursday, Dec. 10 in the Victorian Room of the Outlook Inn. Meeting at 7:45 a.m. for hot beverages and treats, the session will run from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Chamber members are asked to donate $5 to help offset room costs. Community members are welcome at $15 per person.

“7 Simple Steps to Getting Found Online” is one of the Business Essentials Seminars & Workshops provided by the Chamber of Commerce to the membership and the public.

This panel discussion will feature four local web professionals who will share tips they believe will help anyone get found by people looking for your business online whether they have a web site or not.

“Your web site needs to be current and relevant,” Lance Evans of Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce said.

The professionals on the panel will include Michael Sky of 33 Web Street, Joe Thoron of Thoron & Company, Andrew Youngren of 376 Productions, and Joe Symons of JoeBay U.

“This will be an interactive session with lots of great advice and suggestions for you to use immediately to help your business profile in the online world,” Evans said. “And we will look to those in attendance to share your knowledge as we aim to make the Orcas Island online world the best it can be.”
