Last week I wrote an article outlining the procedure for the Democratic Caucus on March 26 at the school cafeteria at 10 a.m. I had said that you would be able to participate even if you are not a registered voter. I have since found out from the state party that the only people not registered to vote who can participate are 17-year-olds who will be 18 by Nov. 8.
So please, if you are 18 or older and currently not registered to vote but wish to participate in the caucus, register to vote before the caucus. You can easily do this online by going to the county elections department website, or you can have that office send you a form.
I will have voter registration forms available at the caucus, but only 17-year-olds will benefit from this. Thank you.
