As you drive through Moran State Park this Labor Day Weekend you might see an influx of traffic.

The Steve Braun Memorial Triathlon will take place this Sunday, Sept. 2. Friends of Moran would like to remind islanders  to drive with caution as athletes will be on the county road by 9:10 a.m. heading towards Doe Bay.

Athletes bike from Cascade Lake in route to Doe Bay onto Point Lawrence Road and turn around at the intersection of Sea Acres/Alderbrook Lane to bike back to Cascade Lake in Moran State Park.

The Friends expects to have 10 to 13 road safety signs in place Sunday morning.
