Sounder subscription drive for Helping Hands Noramise

Since July, the Islands’ Sounder has collected a portion of new subscriptions to donate to Helping Hands Noramise. Publisher Colleen Smith Armstrong, pictured above right, presented a $70 check to board member Hannah Parker.

Helping Hands Noramise was founded by Orcas Islander Rosedanie Cadet. It is located in the northern town of Limbe and provides social and developmental programs for income, pride and social activism. For more info, visit http://noramise.org.
