DVSAS annual “Be the Solution” 5K run/walk

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and DVSAS will hold its annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 7. This event is open to all ages and abilities in an effort to generate energy and awareness towards ending violence in our community. Dogs are welcome too!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and DVSAS will hold its annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 7. This event is open to all ages and abilities in an effort to generate energy and awareness towards ending violence in our community.

The race will start and finish in front of Orcas Island High School. Participants are encouraged to raise money and awareness by gaining pledges from friends and family to help support DVSAS.

Registration is $10. For pre-registration and pledge forms go to the DVSAS office located in the Airport Center. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the covered outside play area at the school.
