Contribute your talent to an old-time radio show

Submitted by the Actors Theater of Orcas Island.

Local radio station KIXP and Actors Theater of Orcas Island are working together to create a live radio show that features local musical talent and comedy sketches, short plays, poetry, historical trivia and other possible delights, a la “Prairie Home Companion” only Orcas-based! Aiming for this fall and happening every few months at the Grange, the show would be performed with a live audience and broadcast simultaneously.

Would you like to contribute your writing, jokes, imagination and talent to this endeavor? We’re especially interested in short (5 minutes or less) audio sketches or plays based on island life.
