Orcas Island Summer Book Sale returns August 13

Great book bargains await! Check out the Summer Book Sale organized by the Friends of the Orcas Island Public Library. The Book Sale will be held on Saturday, August 13, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m in the library’s parking lot, Eastsound. This huge book sale leaves few subjects unturned, including fiction, history, geography, mystery, art, and cookbooks, DVDs as well as books for children and teens.
Orcas Kanikapila, local ukulele musicians and singers, will provide musical accompaniment to your book viewing pleasures from noon-2 p.m.
The Friends of the Orcas Island Public Library is a volunteer nonprofit charitable organization. All proceeds from the Book Sale are used to provide materials and programming for the Orcas Island Public Library.
