Orcas Christian School’s standout volleyball player Tori Plunkett was voted to the All-League Team for volleyball. Her never-say-quit mentality along with her constant hustle earned her second-team honors. She was one of only two ninth-graders to make the team, which shows there are many great things to come from this special player.

Plunkett started this year playing middle but was quickly moved to outside when her potential was noticed by Coach Larissa Bitton. Her serves make her a force to be reckoned with. She scored 17 straight aces in one game this season. If her offensive skills were not enough, number 11 is also one of the strongest defensive players in the league, diving to the hardwood to make spectacular digs time and time again.

Plunkett is usually bruised and battered but still plays with a smile. The sportsmanship that she displays makes her a favorite of referees and opponents alike. She is a player who likes to lead by example. Plunkett makes everyone around her better by keeping them in a position where they can play to their strengths. This freshman makes the game fun to watch.
