The following was submitted by the Funhouse Commons. The Funhouse Commons held its third annual 5K race on July 5 with a total of 89 people.
On Saturday, July 5, the Funhouse Commons will hold its third annual “FC5.” Divisions include a 5K run, 5K walk, and a 1K kids’ run.
It’s baseball season. For men and women age 35 and older who are looking for an opportunity to play softball, come to Buck Park on June 23, at 6:30 p.m.

The Orcas Middle School girls seventh and eighth grade Falcon teams wrapped up their season with games last week. The eighth grade girls ended their two-year Falcon career undefeated.
It looked like it was going to be a tight game between the Lady Vikings and the Tacoma Baptist Crusaders, but the Orcas girls leapt far ahead after halftime, eventually clinching the win at 61-42. The Vikings will move on to regionals; their first game is against LaConner on Thursday.
The community is invited to cheer them on during the game in the high school gym. People are being asked to wear white.
