The Orcas Christian School took the majority of the high school and several junior high students to Mt. Baker for their end of year snow club trip.

Senior Katie Kemmer organized the trip, including negotiating group rates, instructions for beginners, adult chaperones, food and transportation.

“This was the best trip,” said Nick, an eighth-grader. “The sun was out, had two inches of powder on top of groomed runs, and since it was during the week hardly anyone else was there, felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves!”
