Volleyball

The Lady Vikings took on Coupeville on Saturday, Oct. 5 at a home match.

Coupeville proved to be tough competition and Orcas took the 0-3 loss. The team’s next two games were on the road with Friday Harbor on Oct. 8 and Darrington on Oct. 10.

The Vikings were able to secure the 3-1 win with their island rival. The Vikings then traveled to Darrington and lost 0-3. The team’s next five games will all be at home, starting with La Conner on Oct. 15 and Concrete on Oct. 17.

Girls’ Soccer

On Oct. 8, the Lady Vikings traveled to Friday Harbor. It was a tough game and the Vikings lost to their rival the Wolverines in a 0-4 game.

On Oct. 10, the team was supposed to head to Cedar Park Christian, but the game got canceled due to not having enough players. The Soccer team will have a week break before their next games and will pick back up the week of Oct. 21, with three home games that week.

Boys’ Soccer

The Vikings took their undefeated, first place league standing to Mount Vernon Christian on Oct. 11, after having a week off from games.

The team will take on Grace Academy, at home, on Oct. 17 and then head off to Providence Classical Christian on Oct. 18.

Cross Country

The Vikings headed down to Marysville on Oct. 5 to the Nike Twilight Invite. The team did very well, with many improvements all around. Almost everyone on the team finished the meet with new personal records.

On Oct. 12, the Vikings competed in the Nike Hole in the Wall Invite at Lakewood High School. On Oct. 17, they will go to Bellingham for the Lake Lap Invite.
