Island Sinfonia presents Mother’s Day concert

Island Sinfonia is presenting its spring concert on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, at the Orcas Center at 3 p.m.

Conducting the program, which includes Schubert's Symphony No. 8 (The Unfinished Symphony) and Symphony No. 9 (first movement only) is Jack Lynch.

Instrumentalists Wayne Holm and Ginni Keith will, perform Aaron Copland’s The Quiet City.

The $10 tickets, available at the Orcas Center box office, include a wine and cheese and cookies and punch reception following the concert.
