With a larger workout facility and more mat space, the Orcas Island Wrestling Club is anxious to start the 2011 Folkstyle season in November.

"We have the same kids from season one coming back and more joining every day so it's shaping up to be a great year," said coach Jason Dean. "I'm hoping that as football and soccer ends we get even more athletes who will use the club as a way to stay in shape between seasons and increase their skills on the field."

The club's first practice is on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the YMCA Camp Orkila and anyone interested is invited to drop in Tuesday through Thursday between 5 and 7 p.m. to check it out. After the first week of "open house" practice, the club will meet Mon-Thurs from 5 to 7 p.m. throughout the winter.

For more information, call Jason Dean at 376-2816.
